These are brief audio demonstrations of how old 78 rpm records can be restored and digitally cleaned up using "Cedar" technology.
The samples you will hear are recordings of "Basin Street Blues" & "What is this thing called love" (Les Paul).
They have been taken from badly worn 78 shellac jazz records of the 1940's.
On first playing, the reproduction was lifeless with many clicks, crackles and a lot of surface noise.
By removing unwanted interferences and using digital processing, a pleasurable result was achieved!
