Here are two brief demonstrations of how an LP record can be enhanced.
They were both declicked, decrackled, dehissed and digitally restored using Cedar Audio technology.
The first sample is from a mid 1970s vinyl recording from St. Paul's Cathederal London.
The condition of the record was very scratched and grazed throughout it's surfaces.
On first playing, the reproduction was spoilt due to the many clicks, especially on quiet passages.

The second example was taken from a 10" mono vinyl record of Chopin - Mazurka in C sharp minor (1961)
This disk suffered from fine crackle in the background with occasional spikes.
By removing these unwanted interferences, together with the addition of digital processing,
a pleasurable result was achieved!
