This is a brief audio demonstration of how an LP record can be de-clicked and digitally restored using Cedar Audio technology. The first example you will hear is from a mid 1970s vinyl recording from St. Paul's Cathederal London. All the records were very scratched and worn throughout their surfaces. On first playing, the reproduction was spoilt due to the many clicks, especially on quiet passages. By removing these unwanted interferences, together with the addition of digital processing, a pleasurable result was achieved! A similar process can be performed on recordings with hum, hiss and speed fluctuation. l 1st Example Before After Before After 3rd Example |
